Mentum Group Australia finalises transition to Avaxa Pty Ltd
This name change now finalises our transition from Mentum Group Australia to Avaxa Pty Ltd. Mentum Group’s history in Australia goes back to 1998, when the New Zealand IT business Optimation Limited, established Mentum Group Australia as its Australian arm. In 2002, Optimation decided to consolidate its business within the New Zealand market and sold its share to its Australian management team. The business continued to trade under the Mentum Group name until March 2007, when the name was changed to Avaxa Pty Ltd. With the exception of the name change and its obvious flow on effects to email addresses and marketing collateral, all other aspects of the business remain the same.

Optimation and Avaxa will continue to support joint clients where appropriate on both sides of the Tasman.

Amcor - PaperlinX Project Linx - Enterprise Application Integration
A key initiative, as PaperlinX continues to take strides towards becoming a global force in the world paper manufacturing and merchanting markets, is the implementation of SAP in Australia and New Zealand to provide top class supply chain integration for the mills and merchanting arms of the company. Although PaperlinX and Amcor are now separately owned companies they share a common ancestry. One aspect of the de-merger was that IT for both companies continued to be supplied from within Amcor. PaperlinX therefore relies heavily on Amcor IT to ensure that back end integration of its SAP system is successfully achieved.
