STRATA Release 4.6 out now!
STRATA Release 4.6 was released on the 8th of June 2018 and delivers several important changes to the existing Strata functionality as well as an entirely new and eagerly awaited Industry Connect mobile application. This entirely new tool was designed to give teaching staff an online and real-time access to apprentices’ student records while visiting workplaces where apprentices attend all or part of their training.
The Industry Connect App will help the institute to meet several Federal Government compliance requirements by providing functionality to:
Negotiate a training plan with the employer, including unit selection, RPL/CT, delivery modes, employer sign-off and preferred contact method
Capture signatures of employer, student and RTO directly on the mobile device such as tablet or mobile phone
Record results against assessment items and allow publishing of results to units
Allow real-time update of student details.
Other key changes in this release include:
Curriculum – substantial enhancements to www.training.gov.au data import and management e.g. packaging rules evaluation and automatic creation of credit transfers
PRISMS (Provider Registration and International Student Management System) Data Import – functionality to import Course, Confirmation of Enrolment Status Change, or Welfare Arrangement Details. Other data sets can be added to the import as required.
Web Markbook – changes in management of attendance types and absence reasons, active suspensions, and time-based session attendance
Billing Plans – modifications to increase process efficiency and provide more flexibility for both RTO staff and students
Reporting – several enhancements and changes to simplify and enhance reporting functionality related USI, HELP, eCAF, AVETMISS and HEPCAT
VETiS (VET in Schools) – further enhancements to the management of Tuition Fees Override, and New Fee Structure and Invoicing
